Project Overview |
This project involved the digital illustration and design of an Atari CX2600 promotional poster, inspired by the legendary Atari 2600 console and the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial game. Created entirely in Photoshop, the design combines detailed linework, custom textures, and lighting effects to add depth and authenticity. The goal was to capture a nostalgic yet refreshed look, evoking the golden era of retro gaming while maintaining a polished and professional finish.

Design Concept & Approach |
⚬ Fully hand-drawn Atari 2600 console, controllers, and cartridge to ensure accuracy while adding artistic dimension.
⚬ Carefully applied textures and shading to create a realistic yet stylized aesthetic.
⚬ Technical line-art overlay showcasing the console’s labelled features for an informative and schematic touch.
⚬ E.T. illustration was integrated into the poster, enhancing the nostalgic appeal.
⚬ Subtle background grain effects and lighting details give the piece a vintage yet modernized look.
